Bret Coppa began his dance/ballet training at the age of 3 in San Pedro, California, eventually finding Dance Peninsula Ballet under the artistic direction of Roberto Alumgar. He has participated in numerous summer intensives around the U.S. as well as internationally; some include Kirov Academy of Ballet, Ballet West, Miami City Ballet, Alonzo King Lines, Elmhurst School for Dance, and Jacob’s Pillow. He has been a participant of YAGP Regionals and Finals, as well as participating in the Prix de Lausanne
twice. He attended University of North Carolina School of the Arts where he finished highschool. During his time there he performed many leading roles including Principal Man in Donizetti Variations, Waltz Boy in Serenade, Solor in La Bayadere, The Poet in Les Sylphides, and numerous roles from The Nutcracker. After graduating from UNCSA he attended Ballet Heritage in St. Petersburg, RU to receive a teaching certification in the Vaganova Method. Starting his professional career as a member of Atlanta Ballet 2; having roles created on him such as Bruce Well’s Beauty and the Beast where he premiered the role of Gaston, later also performing as the Beast. The following time spent at Atlanta Ballet he danced in works by Ricardo Amarante, Yuri Possokhov, Mark Morris, Alexander Ekman, Johan Kobborg, Claudia Schreier, Lar Lubovitch, Alexander Ekman, Liam Scarlett, and Dwight Rhoden. 2021-2022 he left the Atlanta Ballet to return to freelancing, something he had begun at the age of 13. During which time he danced with Terminus Modern Ballet Theater, and various other schools and companies dancing numerous principal and soloist roles. Anastasia Barsukova trained at the GZEL ballet school and American Ballet Theater JKO
school. She danced at Gelsey Kirkland Ballet Studio Company. Anastasia is currently a freelance dancer with Ballet Verite in NYC and is an Elementary Enrichment Teacher in NJ. She is extremely happy to be back dancing with Analia Farfan at the International American Ballet on stage during the 2025 Spring Season! |

Fiorella Armando is a classical ballet and contemporary dancer, choreographer and teacher from Uruguay, currently based in NYC. Fiorella started her classical ballet and jazz training at the age of 10 at her hometown academy Bella U Dance. She continued her professional training in the city of Montevideo, at the Cuban School of Ballet of Montevideo, Ballet Avant and at the National School of Dance SODRE. In NYC, Fiorella received further training at Vassiliev Academy of Classical Ballet and at Ballet Arts School of Dance. She has performed with American Liberty Ballet as Corps de Ballet and Soloist, with American Ballet Russe as a Soloist and Principal, and as a freelance dancer in the NY/NJ area. Fiorella Armando joined The International American Ballet in 2024.

Chloe Aiello is a passionate and motivated freelance dancer, based in Brooklyn. She performs in and around New York City with International American Ballet, American Liberty Ballet and
CityDance. Previously, Chloe graduated from Columbia University with a Master of Science in journalism and the University of Michigan with bachelor's degrees in dance and political science. She spent summers studying at School of American Ballet, Pacific Northwest Ballet, Miami City Ballet and Orlando Ballet and trained at North Carolina School of the Arts in high school. Chloe joined The International American Ballet in 2024. |

Derek Brockington is from Holland Michigan, he trained at Grand Rapids Ballet School, Interlochen Arts Academy and attended summer intensives at Ballet West, Pennsylvania Ballet, and Central Pennsylvania Youth Ballet. Professional Experience: Dance Theatre of Harlem (fifth season), Cincinnati Ballet, Grand Rapids Ballet. Repertoire includes works by Claudia Schreier, Robert Garland, Stanton Welch, George Balanchine, Anabelle Lopez Ochoa, and Darrell Grand Moultrie. Along with DTH’s Alexandra Hutchinson, he coordinates DTH Social Media. Joined the International American Ballet in 2021.

Jialin Wu was born in China and grew up in Japan. She started her dance journey in Japan since 2016, with old school Lockin, Poppin, Breakin and House background. In 2017, she visited New York for the first time and fell in love with its dance culture. In 2018 she moved to New York and started her studies at Peridance, where she started approaching contemporary and also opened the new door for her to train in ballet technique.
However the Covid lockdown happened right after she started ballet, with very limited source she managed to do a lot of self research on ballet and take zoom classes through the whole pandemic. Fascinated by Russian ballet she focused on training Vaganova method, she graduated in 2022 at Peridance and joined Ballet Arts after. This is her debut performance as corp de ballet. She embarked on the road to continuously keep training and working in the professional field. Jialin Wu joined The International American Ballet in 2023. |

Teryn Trent grew up in Santa Rosa, California where he began his training at New World Ballet under the direction of Victor Temple. As a student of New World Ballet, he studied ballet, contemporary ballet, hip hop, and jazz. Teryn’s love and dedication to the art of dance has led him to perform on stages all across the United States including; California, Indiana, Delaware, Pennsylvania, New York, Indiana, Alabama, and New Jersey. During the summer of 2015, Teryn had the honor of joining the Dance Theatre of Harlem in their 2015
Summer intensive in which he was awarded 2 certificates as the top of his class in ballet technique and hip hop. In 2017 he was awarded with the "Young Entrepreneur of the Year" by the North Bay Black Chamber of Commerce for his achievements as a young artists of color leaving a positive impact on his community. Teryn furthered his training at Butler University, graduating in 2021 with a Bachelor of Science in Dance Arts Administration. Teryn has over 6 years of in-studio teaching experience in various styles such as: ballet technique, pas de deux, jazz, contemporary, conditioning, creative movement, and hip hop. As a performer, Teryn has performed with companies and projects all across the United States including: Company of Dance Arts (NJ) , Yuka Kawazu's Danse En'Lair (NYC), Daniel Gold's Leg up on Life (NYC), New World Ballet (CA), TADA Dance Theater (DE), Tiny Danz Dance Festival Presented by Southern DanceWorks (AL), as well as many other independent choreographers. Teryn Is currently on the East Coast working as a freelance artist. Teryn Trent joined the International American Ballet in 2024. |

Erica Maillet Erica pursued her pre-professional ballet training at the Massachusetts Academy of Ballet, in Holyoke, MA. She also attended summer programs at the American Academy of Ballet, Massachusetts Academy of Ballet, and Ballet Hartford.
In 2015 she began her professional career with Mystic Ballet, in Mystic, CT where she performed works by Sergei Vanaev, and Lauren Edson. She has since then performed with Dimensional Dance, in Hartford, CT, and Ballet Hartford, in Hartford, CT. During her time at Ballet Hartford, she performed works by Silas Farley, Michelle Thompson Ulrich, Calvin Bittner, Caleb Mitchell, and Elizabeth McMillan, as well as classical roles in Romeo and Juliet and Les Sylphides. She has toured with the company to New York City to perform at the Alvin Ailey CitiGroup Theater, Actors Fund Theater, Gelsey Kirkland Arts Center, and Times Square. In 2019, she was a Co-Founder and Company Artist with the New England Ballet Collective, where she performed at Wadsworth Atheneum, in Hartford, CT, Ballet Hispanico, in New York City, and The Academy of Music, in Northampton, MA. Since moving to New York City in 2020, she has performed with New Rising Sun Dance Project, The Muse Brooklyn, Ballet Bloom Project, and several performances with American Liberty Ballet. Erica Maillet joined the International American Ballet in 2023. |

José Rojas is a professional dancer performer and teacher of traditional Argentine folklore originally from Paraná, Entre Ríos, Argentina. José dabbled in folk dance from the age of six. Since then they have participated in various highly renowned folkloric contests and festivals in Argentina, such as the Baradero National Festival 2010, establishing themselves as a revelation couple, and the Cosquin National Festival 2011, establishing themselves as a finalist in dance ensemble, among others.
His passion for dance encouraged José to develop other dance techniques such as ballet, jazz and contemporary; giving you the opportunity to take classes with world-renowned dancers and teachers such as Raquel Rossetti, Alejandro Totto and Iñaki Urlezaga, among others. José also had the opportunity to participate in the Co-production between the Municipal Dance School of Paraná and the Teatro Colon of Buenos Aires, on two occasions: "Don Quixote" in 2010 and "Giselle" in 2011; in which he shared the stage with first dancers from the Teatro Colon such as Silvina Perillo, Edgardo Trabalon, Nadia Muzyca and Gerardo Wyss. In 2015, José received a full scholarship for the summer contemporary jazz course at the Joffrey Ballet School in New York City, during which, for his good performance, he was awarded a full scholarship to attend the school year 2015-2016 in said institution. Currently, José is an independent professional dancer residing in New York. A Worked with different companies and choreographers of great renown such as: artist teacher at Ballet Hispanico, Arim Dance Company (principal dancer of Martha Graham), Amalia Basanta Hernandez (director of the National Folkloric Ballet of Mexico), American Swiss Ballet Company, D'Zul dance Company, Axelrod Contemporary Dance Company, and has had the opportunity to participate in different renowned Festivals and theaters such as: Jacob's Pillow Dance Festival, Dumbo Dance Festival, New York City Center, Alvin Ailey Dance Theater, Victory Dance Theater (broadway) , Town Hall Theater (Broadway), etc. He currently works for the companies: Calpulli Mexican Dance Company, Connecticut Ballet, and independent Tango and Argentine Folklore projects. Jose Rojas joined The International American Ballet in 2024. |

Misa Mochizuki is originally from Japan, and started dancing at the age of 5 under Sakiko and Yutaka Yoshikawa at Yuki Ballet Studio. She came to NY in 2012 and trained at the Joffrey Ballet School and Ballet Arts. She has danced with multiple companies including Albano Ballet Company, Albany Berkshire Ballet, Benjamin Briones Ballet, Jersey City Ballet, Neville Dance Theater, Staten Island Ballet, The Next Stage Project, Xaoc Contemporary Ballet, and among others, performing in classical and contemporary repertoire. Joined the International American Ballet in 2021.

Genaro Freire was born and raised in Guayaquil, Ecuador, where he started dancing at age 17 and attended Escuela de Ballet Inge Bruckman del Teatro Centro de Arte. In 2013 he moved to NYC to dance with the Joffrey Ballet Concert Group, with which he toured the East Coast, Canada, and China, performing in dances by Gerald Arpino, George Balanchine, and Robert Battle and new works by Africa Guzman, Tyler Gilstrap, and Gabrielle Lamb, and appearing with dancers from Complexions in work by Dwight Rhoden. He has danced as a guest artist in Delta Festival Ballet’s The Nutcracker in New Orleans for four seasons in multiple soloist and principal roles. He danced with NYTB from 2018 to 2020, performing in works by Keith Michael, Merce Cunningham, Donald Mahler, Pam Tanowitz, and Robert La Fosse. During 2022 he worked along The Sebastians and Cristopher Caines Dance. He also joined Tabula Rasa Dance Theater to participate in the world premiere of Oedipus Rex. Next year he will be starting his third season with Alison Cook Beatty Dance and this is my first season with “the International American Ballet”

Yoko Yamashita is a singer and performer, based in NY area. She started acting at the age of 3, appeared in TV shows, films, Opera and Musical Theater in Japan.
Yoko is trained in Japanese Traditional dance. As a dancer, she has performed in Opera and concerts, also dance performances at the United Nations, Japan Day at Central Park, the New York Public Library, Alvin Ailey Theater, as well as schools and hospitals throughout New York. She has also worked with many opera companies not only as a singer and dancer but also as a choreographer, Japanese consultant, movement coach, as well as a certified kimono dresser. Her credits include On Site Opera’s world premier opera “Murasaki’s Moon” at Metropolitan Museum, Madama Butterfly with Long Island Opera, and Regina Opera. Joined the International American Ballet in 2021. |

Nadine Azoulay trained at The School of Dance in Canada, the Royal Netherlands Conservatory in The Hague, The Washington School of Ballet, and Accademia Dell’Arte in Italy. Azoulay completed her B.F.A in Dance and Choreography at Virginia Commonwealth University and danced for The Latin Ballet of Virginia. She is New York based, and danced for Balasole Dance, Intersection Dance Collective, The Pink Tutu ballet, ChoreoNova. She choreographed festivals such as, National Choreography Month at Mark Morris Dance Center, The Wired Arts Festival, New York City Dance Parade, HATCH, and DUMBO Dance Festival. Azoulay joined Marie-Christine Giordano and performed at BAM Fisher in Brooklyn for a season. In 2022 Azoulay joined The American Liberty Ballet and the “International American Ballet”.

Victoria Barysheva was born in Omsk, Russia and started dancing at the age of 7. Victoria’s first introduction to dance came in the form of traditional character dance. She later enrolled into Omsk College of Arts and Omsk State University, Faculty Culture and Arts, studying contemporary, modern, and character dance. Victoria is attending Broadway Dance Center, NYC via the International Student Visa Program. This is her third year performing with the American Liberty Ballet company and her first year performing with the “International American Ballet” .

Marcos Vedovetto Dancer and choreographer, Marcos Vedovetto began his studies in Brazil with renowned teachers at Ballet Art Sandra Godoy and Ballet & Cia. He has performed in numerous dance festivals, in film and on TV. He has also performed as backup dancer for popular singers including Sandy and Junior, and in 2017, worked as a PRO Dancer on the Brazilian version of the TV show “Dancing with the Stars.”
Recently Mr. Vedovetto became a US citizen, having resided in the United States for the past 15 years. In the US, he has performed with Dance Theatre of San Francisco, Connecticut Ballet, and Santa Clara Ballet Company, among others. He is currently a Corps dancer at San Francisco Opera and has been a soloist with Sarah Berges DANCE since 2014. As a choreographer, Mr. Vedovetto has created pieces for Dance Theatre of San Francisco, Connecticut Ballet, CelloPointe, and Santa Clara Ballet Company. Mr. Vedovetto joined The International American Ballet as a Guest Artist and Guest Choreographer in 2022. |

Elisabet Torras Aguilera was born and raised in Barcelona, earned her B.A. in Spanish Dance/Flamenco from the Conservatory of Dance and Theater and continued her studies in Madrid. She is trained in all forms of Spanish Dance, The Emma Maleras Castanets Method, Ballet and Contemporary Dance. Elisabet was a guest artist at Flamenco Festivals around the world, performed with Manolo Carrasco, Javier Latorre’s Somorrostro Dansa Flamenca and Rojas & Rodriguez Company and performed across the USA solo and with Flamenco companies such as Soledad Barrio & Noche Flamenca, Flamenco Vivo Carlota Santana, Omayra Amaya Flamenco Dance Company, A Palo Seco Flamenco Company. In 2017 she was a guest artist/choreographer with Dance Heginbotham. Elisabet also appeared in the lead role in Paloma, an award winning short film by Sophia Conger. For the last 4 years, she has been the featured dancer for the Annual Gala of Zarzuelas at Carnegie Hall performing Escuela Bolera and Classical Spanish dances and a guest artist at the Hudson Valley Flamenco Festival. Elisabet received the Award to Outstanding Artistic Career 2019 at Homenaje a la Prensa Internacional. In 2022 she presented her last choreographies at the Thalia Spanish Theatre, NY with the show “Mosaico Flamenco” for Danza España. And is a guest teaching artist with Ensemble Español Spanish Dance Theatre, IL and performed with the company in the American Spanish Dance and Music Festival’22 alongside La Lupi and Curro de María.

Soprano Megan Weston first gained international attention in her San Diego Opera debut as Lightfoot in Carlisle Floyd’s Cold Sassy Tree and as Lisa in La sonnambula with the Caramoor Festival. She recently made her debut with the Joroinen Festival, Finland with the Jyväskylä Orchestra and performed the Swallow and Match Girl in Sergio Cervetti’s opera Elegy for a Prince at Carnegie Hall with DCINY. She has sung many roles with opera companies including Utah Opera, Lyric Opera San Diego, Tulsa Opera, Charlottesville Opera, Opera San Jose, and the Phoenicia Festival, and has appeared with the San Diego Symphony, New Haven Symphony, Cape Symphony, Glens Falls Symphony, and Orchestra Nova. She has performed on all the stages of Carnegie Hall, with the Metropolitan Opera Guild at Lincoln Center, and on PBS and NHK television. Her recordings include Anne in Harold Farberman's Diamond Street on Albany Records, the Pulitzer prize-nominated The Virtues by William George, and her voice is heard on the soundtrack of The Queen’s Gambit on Netflix. Megan Weston is an instructor of voice and piano at Teachers College, Columbia University, and is the co-founder and director of Athena Music Foundation.

Dr. Michael Fennelly is a pianist, coach, conductor, and the co-founder of Athena Music Foundation. Dr. Fennelly completed his Doctor of Musical Arts degree from Manhattan School of Music and is an instructor of piano at West Point. Michael Fennelly premiered his own arrangement of Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue for solo piano, orchestra, and symphonic chorus at Lincoln Center's David Geffen Hall with the National Chorale. The Huffington Post said his performance “hit like a lightning bolt which catapulted the audience 2,000 feet in the air, taking them on a rocket-ride around the Chrysler building." Dr. Fennelly has appeared in concert with international opera star Renée Fleming and has
performed in many of the world's great concert halls, including Carnegie Hall, The Opéra de Monte-Carlo, David Geffen Hall at Lincoln Center, Munich’s Prinzregenten Theatre, and Berlin’s Komische Oper. As a staff pianist for The Juilliard School and the Metropolitan Opera, Michael has collaborated with many of the world’s most celebrated musicians including Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Renata Scotto, Itzakh Perlman, and Lorin Maazel. He was the US winner of the Horowitz Competition and made his Carnegie Hall debut as a winner of the Artists International Competition. As a conductor, he has lead Madama Butterfly (Amore Opera), La traviata (Berkshire) and the premieres of Les Trois Mousquetaires (Phoenicia Festival), Faustine, Big Jim (Center for Contemporary Opera), and assisted in Japan Society’s Four Nights of Dream in sold out performances in Tokyo. Dr. Fennelly was invited as assistant conductor to many prestigious music festivals (Wolftrap, Castleton, Ashlawn, Bruges) and has led innumerable chamber and operatic concerts from the keyboard. Dariusz Horvath-Krol is a Professional Dancer and Instructor based in New York City.
With more than 20 years of dance experience, he specializes in Ballroom/Latin, Hip-Hop, Flamenco, and Ballet. He has also spent 7 years performing and working with Dancing With The Stars professionals. Dariusz has received full bronze, full silver, and gold awards from The Dance Vision International Dance Association. Dariusz joined the International American Ballet on 2021 . |
